Who do you plan to vote for in the governor's primary race?
It's not disenfranchisement that is prompting local election officials to move a polling place for Tuesday's primary elections.
Apparently, the continued sizzling hot, humid weather has forced town officials to adjust one of its polling places for the Tuesday, Aug. 14 primaries, according to the Registrar of Voters Office.
With this week’s heat wave expected to linger into next week, the Wilton Registrar of Voters has permission to shift the District 3 polling place to the air-conditioned Middlebrook School cafeteria from the school gym -- which does not have air conditioning.
District 3 voters can still park in the lot behind Middlebrook School while they vote, officials said.
